Air Malaysia currently have one of the youngest fleet in the world. These aircrafts are the world's most technically advanced and will enable us to introduce revolutionary onboard products and service innovations.
On 11 August 2013, Air Malaysia took delivery of its first 787s. It began regular services to Hong Kong on 12 August 2013, followed by Toronto on 2 December 2013.
The majority of the Air Malaysia fleet is either powered by Rolls-Royce or General Electric engines, of which General Electric was a major contributor. The remaining of the fleet is equally divided between the CFM International consortium and Pratt & Whitney.
